hello sweetie!

That’s how much it’s gonna cost to fix my computer. AGAIN #broke -___-

welp this time last year the keyboard and trackpad needed to be replaced. and now my screen is cracked.

last week my desk shelf tipped over knocking my laptop of my desk. after it happened i checked out my computer and it looked fine. but it must have cracked the corner which turned into a larger crack. now im afraid its just going to keep getting bigger. i want to cry. what am i supposed to do with out my computer? IM A FUCKING GRAPHIC DESIGN MAJOR! AND THEREFORE NEED MY COMPUTER. WHY DOES THIS SHIT KEEP HAPPENING!

for some reason i really miss you right now. i miss your 3 am texts. i miss how i could talk to you for hours. i miss how you made me feel. i miss how comfortable i felt with you. i miss how for a brief period of time you made me happy. but we havent talked in a while and it sucks. i miss how close we were. you were really important to me and i hate how now we are perfect strangers. i have to keep telling myself to move on because you have someone else to miss now :(

so i’m taking screen printing this semester and i went to 5 places to find a 25x36in 200 mesh count screen. no where had them and everyone i asked said that you need to stretch your own. i’m like helll nooo am i stretching my own screen. i did it in high school and it was only half the size i need and i had trouble with it. i finally was able to find one online and order it but im not going to get it before class. but honestly i have already reached the proverbial fuck it point so my professor is just going to have to deal. 

this leads me to my point, where is my art fee going? seriously i pay all this money for a lab fees but then i still wind up dishing out $200 a semester on art supplies. on top of that I have to run around like a mad women searching for them. its bullshit. like i wouldnt mind buying supplies if it was easier to get the specific things that these classes require. Or why cant they order them for us and then we pay the professors. which would probably be cheaper because they can order them whole sale. or when i went to blick they had a list of schools and classes and then you told them what you were taking and they had a nice neat package of supplies all put together. but does montclair take advantage of this? NO!  instead  i had to go to blick, pearl, pearl in NYC, Standard Screen Supply, and jerry’s to be told that 25x36 prestretched 200 meshcount screens dont exist.

so now i will just patiently wait for my screen to arrive and hope it comes before class monday. haha like thats gonna happen.

february 6th AIGA is showing an exclusive screening of the linotype movie that i have been dying to see and i really wanted to go with my dad. he would have loved it. but instead i will be in class :( womp
